This official website of the "SonuISM Scholarship Portal" has been developed as a gateway to provide Scholarships offered by its owners to eligible students.

The documents and information displayed in this website are for reference purposes only and does not purport to be a legal document. All scholarships and awards will be referred to as ‘scholarships’ herein.

Please note, if you are under 18 years of age, your parent or guardian must read and consent to these terms and conditions on your behalf.

This document outlines the Terms and Conditions for all scholarships, bursaries and awards, administered by the SONUISM Scholarship Program for medical education. All scholarships, bursaries and awards will be referred to as ‘scholarships’ herein. By submitting an application for our scholarship, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Students in receipt of scholarship may also be required to sign an individual scholarship agreement. Students must meet all conditions as outlined in the agreement.

Providing false or misleading information is an offence. If SonuISM knows or has reason to believe that you have provided false or misleading information, SonuISM may reassess your entitlement to the scholarship and you will be liable to re-pay to SonuISM the total sum of any payments incorrectly made to you.

Scholarships are awarded based on established eligibility criteria. You must meet the eligibility requirements to receive your scholarship payment. The eligibility requirements for each scholarship are outlined on our scholarship page of our website.

The total value of the scholarship offered will be outlined in the official offer email. We reserve the right to offer any value of funds

SonuISM is not responsible for and cannot provide you with financial advice on taxation matters. The information provided here is of a general nature only and does not take into account your individual financial circumstances.

The scholarship funds can be paid into your nominated bank account, or by other means, to be discussed between SonuISM and you the applicant. SonuISM reserve the right to make final decision on how payment is made, and can withdraw the offer of scholarship if an amicable and realistic payment process cannot be reached.

SonuISM reserve the right to cancel the Scholarship program at any point. SonuISM reserves the right to share your application with any company affiliates, including personal information such as your email address

Eligibility Requirements

All scholarships are awarded on the basis that you will maintain an enrolled status at the University or full time enrolment in your approved medical course education. Your scholarship may be terminated if your enrolment status changes, for example if you discontinue your studies or university course, or transfer to a University not partnered with SonuISM.

SCHOLARSHIP TERMINATION

The SONUISM Foundation may terminate your scholarship if you have:
• discontinued from your government school or approved course of study or have inactive enrolment;
• failed to meet the eligibility requirements of your scholarship;
• failed to meet the scholarships terms and conditions;
• failed to maintain satisfactory academic progress;
• been suspended or excluded from college or your course of study;
• have provided incorrect, false or misleading information or withheld relevant information on your scholarship application or after receiving a scholarship offer.

If your scholarship is terminated, you will not receive any further payments. You may be required to repay some or all of your scholarship.
